SF Walking Tour: City of Paris Stained Glass Ceiling

Before last night’s webOS meetup at the 21st Amendment bar in SF, we were lucky enough to have a 90-min walking tour around downtown SF, hosted by @SFHandyman, a fellow webOS enthusiast. He gave a great tour! I didn’t take many photos during the tour since I was preoccupied listening to the history behind the buildings we saw. However, I did snap a quick photo of the beautiful stained glass ceiling inside Neiman Marcus (at Stockton St.):

It was once the ceiling of a department store called the City of Paris. When the building was torn down, Neiman Marcus incorporated the original ceiling and rotunda into their new building. Next time we go to SF, I’ll want to revisit some of the places we saw to take more photos. Good stuff!
