Late last year, mid-December, there was a day where it was super foggy in the hills, but the sun still poked through at the higher elevations. Hubby and I went driving on Calaveras and Sierra to shoot photos of the spectacle and got LOTS of great shots. We spent the whole afternoon on those mountain roads watching the light shift and the fog ebb and flow through the area. However, as it usually goes, I procrastinated on posting said shots due to several unimportant reasons. Anyway, here’s one of the photos from that batch, my favorite tree on Sierra Rd. While the original photo was really cool already with the fog and sun together, the extra ethereal glow is thanks to Dynamic Light, Orton Filter. Love that app!
