Not a mistake. State of California apparently has a law that requires people be warned of any risk of lead exposure. Geeks.com posts the same warning on their computers because they may contain lead solder. Considering the prevalence of lead solder in plumbing, it’s safe to assume there’s at least some lead in any building, which pretty much negates the effectiveness of the warning.
