Incase Rip-Stop Backpack
I’ve seen this bag on a couple gear blogs recently, and at first I was not that interested in it. But the more I see it, the more it has grown on me. It’s by Incase, the same company that made my current sling bag (which Sumocat also has 
). I really like the sling bag I have because:
- it can hold a surprising amount of stuff, while remaining sleek, not bulky
- it’s the only sling bag I’ve seen that allows me to carry it over my right shoulder; the design of most sling bags only allows you to sling the strap over your left shoulder if you don’t actually wear the bag over your torso. Wearing bags over my left shoulder feels weird!
While I do like my current Incase sling bag to carry my tablet and various equipment to and from work, I sometimes wish there was more space/pockets for extra equipment I want to bring, like my external DVD burner, or extra books or magazines. Besides being a gadget freak, I’m also a bag enthusiast, so I’m always
on the look out for new bags. I’m particularly enamored of
backpack-style bags. This new Incase backpack might just be what I need. I just wish the color of the bag was different!
Totally agree with the “over the right shoulder” assessment. Probably due to being right-handed.

Great looking bag with one exception.. the color scheme.. perhaps a charcoal/black/ burnt orange or Charcoal/ Indigo

I agree, Douglas. What is the deal with Incase and their dang earth (grayish, at that) colors? I passed on buying the Incase sling bag I have for quite a while because I didn’t like the brownish color, but I finally gave in because I really liked the design.

this seems to be wery good bag . but one BIG problem.. the compani that makes it ( incase ) is not interested in comunication with costumers via e-mail . Im trying to by this bag for 3 monts but sadly i cant becouse im in europa ( slovenia ) and hej probably woant ship to me… if eney one knowes how to buy please let me know .
